Raw cotton and the final cotton is all kept on cemented floor and not on mud. Minimum human handling is done of the raw cotton while transferring it to the ginning machine. Workers have to tier their hair and hand a bag around their neck to pick any type of trash visible. All cleaning is done by cotton/ cloth brooms - no jute or synthetic brooms are used for cleaning the premises. After ginning, the raw cotton is again hand picked for visible foreign particles, before sent for bailing.
